Who doesn't love it when you get a little sweet treat after a long day at the office? It's no raise, and it's definitely not a promotion, but even these little perks can lift employees' spirits, so there's no reason to make a big deal out of it.

That is, unless someone else decides to create drama where there shouldn't be any, like the boss in the story below.

This boss decided to bring donuts to the office as a little sweet treat for his employees. But when one of the employees took one whole donut for themselves, the boss looked offended and proceeded to cut the remaining donuts in half. 

Apparently, this was not the only time something like this happened to the employee who wrote this story, so they decided to raise the question: What is the appropriate portion of a donut for one person?

    So this has happened at two different places | work in, someone or the boss brings in doughuts, normal sized and not cut up, to work as a reward to the workers.

    NTA. DarthEarlthepearl Cut up doughnuts in the office skeeve me out. I just assume the person didn't wash their hands before holding the doughnut they cut, the knife wasn't clean, and someone definitely put a finger in that filling.
